The care provided in the practice is within the basic line of mental care, “basis generalistische GGZ” if you have a Dutch health insurance. The treatment is reimbursed for a limited number of sessions by a standard health insurance, depending on the problems and severity. Please note that you have to pay your own risc , “eigen risico” to the health insurance. Please note that for a Dutch health insurance, you need a referral letter, ‘verwijsbrief’ from your general practitioner or specialist before the intake. If you need any more information please contact the practice.
If the practice does not have a contract with your health insurance company, there is the possibility to receive an invoice. This allows you to submit a claim and receive (part of) the costs through your insurance company, depending on your policy. It is strongly recommended to ask your health insurance company what your coverage is, before starting the treatment.
Systemic therapy is only reembursed by the (Dutch) health insurance within the treatment of psychological symptoms that meet the criteria of a DSM-5 diagnosis.
For couples therapy in some cases the additional health insurance ( aanvullende verzekering ) offers a possibility of (partial) reimbursement.
For 2023 there are contracts with : Aevitae ( health insurance EUCARE), Anderzorg, a.s.r. , Caresq, CZ, De Friesland, DITZO, DSW, Eno, FBTO, HEMA, Holland Zorg, Interpolis, Jaaah, Menzis, Nationale Nederlanden, OHRA, ONVZ, OWM, PNO Zorg, Salland Zorgverzekeringen, VvAA, VinkVink, Zilveren Kruis, Zorg Direct, Zorg & Zekerheid

Uninsured care in 2023:
Individual session € 110,00 (45 min.)
Couples therapy € 124,00 (60 min.)
This also applies to first meeting sessions. If it’s more convenient for you, you can ask for a double session.
Continuity is impportant for your treatment. If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. Unfortunately there are waiting lists in health care. If you cancel on time, a client on the waiting list can start his treatment sooner.
A late cancellation of an appointment will be charged with a fee of € 62,00. In case of two late cancellations, the treatment will be stopped.
From January 2022 there is a new system of reimbursement, the ‘Zorgprestatiemodel’. The invoice of the sessions will be sent monthly to you or your health insurance company. Please note that if you start the treatment at the end of the year and finish in the following year, your own risc, ‘eigen risico’ will be deducted each year by your Dutch health insurance(s).
